Yes, there are shipping options that include insurance for loss and damage up to $5000. These options include mandatory sign on delivery.
Orders are dispatched within a couple of days via express post. If there is a delay or a product is out of stock we will call to let you know.
Farmo devices are covered by a 12 month back-to-base warranty (you send it to us and then we repair or replace the item and send it back to you free of charge).
After the standard warranty period expires we apply a pro-rata warranty that credits a percentage of the purchase price equal to the months remaining up to 24 months of usage.
Email support@farmo.com.au with the device number and a description of the issue. If possible, a photo can be really help us diagnose the issue.
We may run a diagnostic remotely of your device to identify the issue before we trouble you to post the device back to Farmo for a repair, or replacement.

Yes. Every Farmo device requires a Farmo subscription. When you receive your device you will scan a QR code and set up your account in a few simple steps.
No. The SIM card is already inside and we pay the data fees, which is covered by your device susbcription.
The subscription covers the charges we pay for data, servers and overheads but also allows us to support our customers and continue developing new technology.
As a rule of thumb for NB-IoT devices, we advise half a bar. Or enough signal to send a text message is enough for Farmo devices to work.
If you dont have this signal please ask about our satellite options.

The customer owns the data. Farmo has adopted the NFF's Australian Farm Data Code, a policy developed by our peak farmer body for farmers and can be downloaded here.
Yes but it very rare. Because its floating its like picking up "an apple in a bucket" with your mouth. Very hard to do.
Our target is one year minimum battery life for every device in the default setting, but in most circumstances battery will last much longer. You can ask us to increase the reporting frequency but understand that the battery life will shortened.
Mostly yes. If we design a product ourselves we make the electronics here in Melbourne, import the plastic enclosure, and do the final assembly here. However we also have some generic sensor components which are not worth making ourselves. We import those from overseas.
