Welcome to smart, reliable remote control - wherever you are.

Remotely control pumps, motors, and other equipment directly from your phone.

The Farmo Remote Relay Switch lets you start and stop almost any pump, motor, engine, or generator from anywhere using the Farmo App.

It can operate automatically based on schedules or sensor data such as tank levels, rainfall, or soil moisture, helping you save time, reduce fuel use, and improve water efficiency.

Installed by a licensed electrician, this cloud-connected latching relay can be wired into the existing controller and link with Farmo sensors (often the Farmo tank sensor) even when located hundreds of kilometres apart.

See example installation here.

If you want a DIY option for single phase 240V power outlet, check out our Remote Pump Control unit that plugs straight into an existing power outlet.

The relay switches and pump control have been great. The levels are easily changed on the Farmo app. The remote controlled pumps linked to the tank readers have kept good water levels and no waste. The water is tightly managed and the pumps run every day.

We’ve used the relay switch to control a mix of pumps and generators on our property. Simple to operate, and the peace of mind from being able to check status remotely is worth every cent.

FAQS

Yes, as long as there’s mobile network coverage (Telstra by default) the device will work. It’s built tough for use in remote or rugged farm conditions.

Controlled via the Farmo App, the Remote Pump Controller can be set to operate in the following modes:

  • Manual control: Start or stop pumps directly from the Farmo App
  • Scheduled control: Run pumps automatically on set schedules
  • Sensor-based control: Trigger pumps based on water tank levels or soil moisture
  • Combined triggers: Use a mix of conditions - for example, only run pumps when tank levels drop and it’s within a scheduled time window

All modes are fully configurable in the Farmo App, where you can also monitor real-time status and review historical data.

The latching relay is controlled by a microcontroller which calls in to the server every 5 minutes to check open or close status changes. The server status is controlled from the App in real time or from the automated settings. Our detailed installation manual explains how the device works and guides you through setup.
