This guide explains how to set up and use Rainfall Comparison in the Farmo App.

This feature allows you to compare your Farmo Rain Gauge readings with the nearest official weather station and see long-term monthly historical rainfall averages.

Prerequisite: You must have a Rain Gauge in your Farmo organisation to use this feature.

Steps to Configure Rainfall Comparison

Open Rain Gauge → Configure

From your Home Page, open your Rain Gauge device, then tap Configure to edit its settings.

Enter Location & Save

Enter your Rain Gauge device's Latitude and Longitude, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Save. The app will use the location you've entered to select the nearest official weather station.

Open Monthly Rainfall

Now go to the device’s Monthly Rainfall view by pressing on Rain this Month to see monthly totals recorded by your device.

Enable Long-Term Average

Press on the Compare to Long-Term Average switch at the top of the page (circled below). The chart now overlays the long-term average alongside this month’s rainfall from your device, so you can see how the month compares with historical patterns.

Heads up: Don't forget to set your device coordinates first (Step 2). If no location is set, the app will prompt you to add them.
